You let me know when you would like to exchange ideas.. I remain busy with networks etc .. but I'm a Mother and enjoy relaxing every now and then. Hit me up and I can share some creative things that would do the group some good. I think ALL of the members would enjoy the setting / events for them and the kid's.

Hi everyone ! If you all wanna start some gatherings.. such as meetups in certain areas with the children let me know. Some of you all may not know about a site called meetup.com but they provide a lot of groups for us single parents.. and they have these cool meetups for fun. One of the ones was for chuck e chesse and they were also passing out free coupons to the ones that was having a rough time. Some Honey you may wanna think about some gatherings for us. We can get creative with your group.

Hello everyone, I am new here and I am a single parent..My son's dad moved away a month before i had him..My son is getting ready to head to high school.. He is my only son and I am kinda nervous.. In high school everything is very different.. I thank God that he is an honor student and I keep him active in sports...but over all he is a good kid..I get compliments from other parents on how well mannered he is, but it's like a different story at home... I thnk God for this site to be able to chat with other single parents in different states...

I have a 6yr old son. He is staying with is dad for the summer (this is the 1st summer he has) am I wrong for not WANTING him to stay with him for these few weeks? Help cuz everyday i want to go get him. We don't live in the same city but it is about 45 mins away. But if something pop off i can get there in 20 mins....!

I love the premise of this group as well Nchantng. I have two kids a decade a part and like night and day. My 14yr old son is the sweetest most endearing child you would want to meet. LOL..Now his lil sister. WOW. She thinks she is my mother with her neck rolling and finger pointing and hip grabbing, LOL. I will admit that I had more patience with my son, but I was 24yr and excited about being a new mom. Now my daughter came along at 33 when the hormones were doing their own thing, LOL. My maternal skills are not what they used to be, LOL, and neither is my patience, and my daughter tries both hourly it would seem, LOL. But there are those moments when she clings to me and loves on me that I know everything will be okay, because I am and will always be mommy.

Good Morning Everyone,
My name is Makesia, and I am a new mother with my 1st child. He's 2 years old. I was always told I couldn't have kids, so to give birth was a blessing. Raising him alone has been both frightening and exciting all at the same time...I think I went to the ER everytime his nose ran...the nurses got used to my face. LOL! But, day-by-day it's getting easier. Glad there's a support group on here cause I'm going to need it! Nice to meet everybody!

Hello Everyone. I am a single mom of 2 beautiful kids. My son is about to be 7 and my daughter is about to be 5. Their father walked out of their lives when my daughter was 6 weeks old. I can't say I'm sad because him leaving gave me the opportunity to raise good & respectful kids. I always tell everyone that my job is part time but being a mother is full time. It's good to find a place where everyone understands my everyday struggle.
